Job description for Support Coordinator

About the Role We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented HR Intern to support our HR department with day-to-day operations. The intern will gain hands-on experience in recruitment, onboarding, employee engagement, and basic HR administration.

Key Responsibilities

1. Recruitment & Hiring

  • Assist in end-to-end recruitment process (job posting, shortlisting, scheduling interviews, follow-ups, etc.)
  • Coordinate with candidates and hiring managers.
  • Maintain candidate databases and interview trackers.

2. Onboarding & Documentation

  • Support onboarding formalities for new hires.
  • Prepare offer letters, employment forms, ID cards, etc.
  • Ensure timely collection and verification of employee documents.
  • Conduct induction & welcome sessions.

3. Attendance & HR Operations

  • Monitor employee attendance and maintain attendance records.
  • Assist in leave and time-tracking related queries.
  • Support monthly attendance closure and reporting.

4. Employee Engagement

  • Create greetings, posters, festival wishes, birthday cards, etc. using Canva.
  • Coordinate internal engagement activities & HR events.
  • Assist in updating HR notice boards, newsletters, etc.

5. General HR Support

  • Maintain HR records and employee database.
  • Assist in HR audits and compliance documentation.
  • Handle basic employee queries professionally.

Skills & Qualifications

  • MBA / PG / Graduate pursuing or completed (preferably in HR / Business / Management).
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Basic knowledge of HR processes is an added advantage.
  • Canva designing skills (basic creative ability) – required.
