Job description for Support Coordinator
About the Role We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented HR Intern to support our HR department with day-to-day operations. The intern will gain hands-on experience in recruitment, onboarding, employee engagement, and basic HR administration.
Key Responsibilities
1. Recruitment & Hiring
- Assist in end-to-end recruitment process (job posting, shortlisting, scheduling interviews, follow-ups, etc.)
- Coordinate with candidates and hiring managers.
- Maintain candidate databases and interview trackers.
2. Onboarding & Documentation
- Support onboarding formalities for new hires.
- Prepare offer letters, employment forms, ID cards, etc.
- Ensure timely collection and verification of employee documents.
- Conduct induction & welcome sessions.
3. Attendance & HR Operations
- Monitor employee attendance and maintain attendance records.
- Assist in leave and time-tracking related queries.
- Support monthly attendance closure and reporting.
4. Employee Engagement
- Create greetings, posters, festival wishes, birthday cards, etc. using Canva.
- Coordinate internal engagement activities & HR events.
- Assist in updating HR notice boards, newsletters, etc.
5. General HR Support
- Maintain HR records and employee database.
- Assist in HR audits and compliance documentation.
- Handle basic employee queries professionally.
Skills & Qualifications
- MBA / PG / Graduate pursuing or completed (preferably in HR / Business / Management).
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic knowledge of HR processes is an added advantage.
- Canva designing skills (basic creative ability) – required.
